Enugu Lawmaker Empowers His Constituents
The member representing Oji River in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Honourable Osita Eze, has empowered 20 constituents with point of sale, POS, machines and cash to start business.
The empowerment covers one beneficiary each from the 20 political wards in Oji River Local Government Area of the State.
Speaking during the presentation, the Chairman of the Labour Party in Oji River and spokesperson Labour Party in Enugu State, Dr. Ginger Ibeneme Junior, commended the beneficiaries for showing interest In the program. He said that Labour Party is focused on making governance at the grassroots a befitting one for the people.

He then thanked Honourable Eze for ‘good representation’, adding that Oji River people have no regret in electing him to represent them in the House of Assembly.
Similarly, the youth leader of the Labour Party in Oji River, Ezeugo Nze, thanked Honourable Eze for his good work, especially his idea of empowering his people with POS business in their various places. He added that the youths of Oji River will continue to give him all the necessary support.
In his address, Hon. Eze, convener of the event, thanked everybody for honouring his invitation. He said the idea of empowerment is to enable some people to work and support their families; that he had to use the little resources to start the empowerment, promising that as long as more resources come he won’t hesitate to continue empowering his people who sent him on that political assignment. He urged the beneficiaries to take the business serious and be conscious of fraud.
He thanked the Chairman Labour Party in Oji River Dr. Ginger Ibeneme Junior for his good work in carrying everybody along and making out time to honour the event.

Some of the beneficiaries also expressed their joy, describing Honourable Eze as a man of his word. They said Oji River is now experiencing good governance under his mandate and promised to encourage him by taking the business seriously.
