The Enugu State Nigeria Union of Journalists, Federated Chapel, has pledged total support for Signature TV during a courtesy visit to its headquarters in Enugu on Monday February 5th.

The visit came days after Signature Communications, owners of Signature TV, unveiled its Enugu State complex.

On 31st January 2024, a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Victor Attah, commissioned the complex at Thinkers Corner, Enugu.

Welcoming the delegates to the new facility, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Signature TV, VinMartin Obiora Ilo, who showed them various facilities in the complex, was optimistic that by April this year, the new television station will be fully on air.

According to him, it was a deliberate decision to bring the headquarters to the South East as the region is not fully given attention nationwide in terms of its cultural and economic development, and overall contribution to nation building.

Ilo affirmed that Signature TV will be a mouthpiece for Ndigbo and will pay more attention to happenings in the South East zone.

The Chairman, Correspondents Chapel, NUJ Enugu Council, Lawrence Njoku, described the new station as first of its kind in the South East Zone.
