Enugu State Reps-Elect Kick-starts Youth Empowerment
The House of Representatives member-elect for Enugu East and Isi-Uzo federal constituency Professor Paul Nnamchi has organised a one-month free computer training for secondary school students in Enugu East local government area of Enugu State.
At the Grand finale and presentation of prizes to the best students in the training which took place at Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church Abakpa Nike, professor Nnamchi said he was more focused on making his constituents proud of their representative in the green chamber. He said he has to start work the day he won the election adding that he promised his people a lot and the earlier he started
attending to those promises the better for him.
The coordinator of the training Comrade Daniel Igwe in his welcome address said that the event was in accordance with the educational agender of Professor Nnamchi which has set out during his campaign
Also, the Parish priest of Saint Theresa’s parish most Reverend monsignor Chuks Ogbuebe said that of Nnamchi was committed to the interest of the youths
Lending his voice, the Chief Executive Officer of SignatureTV, Vinmartin Ilo, appreciated Professor Nnamchi for a job well done and advised the children to use the opportunity to become better students
One of the students who participated in the training Usman Emmanuel of Genus International College Enugu expressed his gratitude saying that the training has improved his Computer literacy.
Professor Nnamchi used the occasion to unveil his Techhub and youth innovation project (PPNTAI)and presented cash prizes to the three best students in the training program.
Those present at the event include the Chief Executive Officer Signaturetv Vinmartin Ilo, the parish priest of Saint Theresa’s parish Monsignor Chuks Ogbuene, top officials of the Labour party in Enugu East and many others.
