Nottingham Forest will trigger a one-year contract extension for Ola Aina after his impressive debut season at the club.
The 27-year-old joined Forest on a free transfer last summer, penning a one-year contract.
The Nigeria international is now set to remain at the City Ground for another season.
Aina has scored once in 13 league appearances for the Tricky Trees.
The versatile defender was in action in Forest’s 3-1 victory against Fulham on Tuesday.
He has previously played at Chelsea, Hull City and Torino.
