Trading on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange resumed on Monday with an impressive surge in all the indicators.
All the indicators, the volume, the value, the All Share Index and the total deals rose as Equity Capitalization increased by Eighty-One Point Eight Three Nine Billion Naira, a Zero Point Four Five Percent Surge.
The volume of stocks traded rose to Four Hundred and Fifteen Million, Five Hundred and Thirty On Thousand, Four Hundred Seventy-Six, From One Hundred and Ninety Million, Two Hundred and Eighty Thousand, Eighty-Two, A One Hundred and Eighteen Point Three Eight Percent increase.
The value also increased from Three Billion, Three Hundred and Thirty Million, Seven Hundred and Five Thousand, Nine Hundred and Sixty-Four Point Zero One Naira to Four Billion, Eight Hundred and Ninety-Seven Million, Nine Hundred and Fourteen Thousand, One Hundred and Eighty-Nine Point Six Five, A Forty-Seven Point One Percent Rise.
The All Share Index Also Rose to Thirty-Five Thousand, Forty-Two Point One Four from Thirty-Four Thousand, Eight Hundred and Eighty-Five at Close On Friday, a zero point four five percent Rise.
AIRTEL AFRICAN PLC was the top gainer among other 30 gainers at the close of trade on Monday. its share price rose from 535 naira traded on Friday to 588.5, a ten percent gain per share.
However, NORTHERN NIGERIAN FLOUR MILLS dominated the losers’ chart among other 29 losers. Its share price went down from 7.7 naira at close on Friday to 6.93 on Monday, a ten Percent loss per share.
