Establish a Presidential Task Force, Group Advice Tinubu
A political group known as Patriotic and Concern Members of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), has advised President Tinubu to establish a Presidential Task Force to avoid the trend of internal sabotage of government policies and programs under the current administration.
The Chairman of the group, Danjuma Muhammad stated this on Thursday at a press conference in Abuja.
The group is optimistic that the presidential task force will monitor, detect and expose saboteurs among the appointees and agencies of the Tinubu administration, and avoid pitfalls that led to the failure of past democratic governments in the last 24 years.
Danjuma said there was deliberate mismanagement of $14 billion dollars, meant to boost national electricity supply infrastructure during President Olusegun Obasanjo’s regime by officials of the government that were charged with the responsibility to supervise and implement the projects.
Similarly, during President Good Luck Jonathan’s regime, billions of dollars meant to reduce insurgency, and build capacity for the Nigerian security and Defence sectors were embezzled by senior appointees of his administration.
Under Former President Muhammadu Buhari, some appointees worked at cross purposes to deliberately ensure that the government did not succeed in the delivery of its key programmes and promises to Nigerians.

The group then suggested and proposed some eminent personalities whose record of competence, loyalty, and commitment to the success of the Tinubu presidency is not in doubt to serve in the presidential task force like; Chief Bisi Akande, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
Also on the list, are Nasiru Elrufai, Hon. James Alake, Bayo Onanuga, Nuhu Ribadu, Dele Alake, Muhammad Badaru, Dr. Ene Lilian Ogbole, Comrade Adams Oshionmole, and Festus Keyamo.
The group called on Nigerians irrespective of political, ethnic, religious, and ideological differences to support and pray for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, so as for Nigeria to be back on track to greatness.
