Ex-President Buhari Departs Eagles Square For Katsina

Immediately after the completion of the military formalities of lowering and hoisting new flags to signal a new dispensation, immediate-past President Muhammadu Buhari departed the Eagles Square venue of the presidential inauguration of Bola Tinubu as Nigeria’s 16th President.

The convoy of former President Buhari drove out of Eagles Square at about 11.04 am on his way to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja en route to his native Katsina State where he is expected to reside for some time.

President Tinubu was driven round the Eagles Square to the cheers of Nigerians and invited guests present.

Shortly after, Tinubu will make his Inaugural address to Nigerians at Eagles Square.
