“EXHIBIT HIGHER WISDOM AND RESPONSIBILITY YOUR NEW RANKS BRING”, ENUGU CP CHARGES NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS
The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Kanayo Uzuegbu, has charged newly promoted officers of the Command to exhibit higher levels of wisdom and responsibility in the discharge of the duties inherent in their new ranks.
He noted that their elevation to the new ranks only means that they have been elevated to higher responsibilities. Hence, they must exhibit higher wisdom in discharging their duties.
Uzuegbu congratulated the officers on their promotion and thanked the Acting Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for recommending them for promotion and the Police Service Commission for graciously approving their promotion.
The Commissioner stated this while decorating the newly promoted officers with their new ranks at the Conference Hall, State Headquarters, GRA Enugu on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Those promoted and decorated with the new rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) are: Blessing Isi Ijiomah, the officer in-charge of the Command’s Police Medical Services, and George Okwor, the officer in-charge of the Command’s Veterinary Services. Ibrahim Sani Moriki, 9th Mile Police Division’s Divisional Police Officer (DPO); Suleiman Jafaru, the officer in-charge of the Commissioner of Police Monitoring Unit (CMU); Rev. Father Peter Nwali, the Command’s Chaplain; and Arua Usman, the Command’s Imam, were among those promoted and decorated with the new rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
The CP was assisted by his management team members to decorate the officers, while their spouses, family members, and friends of the officers were on hand to witness the event.
