Federal Government extends NIN-SIM linkage until June 30
The National Identification Number (NIN) and Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) integration exercise has been extended until June 30th.
The approval was contained in a statement co-signed by Director, Public Affairs, Dr Ikechukwu Adinde, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and Head, Corporate Communications, Mr Kayode Adegoke National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami said the postponement of the deadline was considered after a virtual meeting attended by the Chairman of NCC, Professor Adeolu Akande, in order to make it easier for all citizens and legal residents to register.
