FG TO RESUSCITATE TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS’ GAMES TO FOSTER UNITY
The Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa has pledged the readiness of the ministry to resuscitate tertiary institutions games to foster unity in the country.
Alausa made the pledge in Abuja when he was receiving medal awards presented to him by the ministrys’ sports club after the just concluded 43rd edition of the Annual Public Service Games.
Also, Charles Muibi, Welfare Officer, Federal Ministry of Education Sports Club, called for the recruitment of young persons into the ministry’s sports club.
Similarly, the Sports Manager in the ministry, Alli Tajudeen assured the Minister of the club’s strong will to push further in winning more awards for the ministry.
Highlight of the event also featured the presentation of six other awards won by the Servicom Unit of the ministry.
The awards are-Best Performing Ministerial Servicom Unit (MSU), Best Performing Nodal Officer, Best Performing MSU Desk Officer and Most Innovative MSU awards. Others are Best Supporting CEO and Servicom Compliant MDA awards.
