Fire outbreaks: INEC lauds Enugu Fire Service
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Enugu State has commended officers and men of the Enugu State Fire Service for prompt response to two fire outbreaks in its offices in the state.
The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner Dr Emeka Ononamadu, gave the commendation while speaking on Friday in Enugu.
The headquarters of INEC in Enugu State was May 16th on fire and barely four days after its office in Orba in the Udenu Local Council area was also affected by another fire.
Ononamadu noted that the prompt and timely intervention of fire-fighters from Enugu State Fire Service drastically reduced the impact of both fire incidents in their offices.
