Flying Eagles Qualified For Semi-final Of 2024 West African Football Union (WAFU) B
Nigeria’s U20 National team, Flying Eagles, have qualified for the semi-final of the 2024 West African Football Union (WAFU) B U20 after defeating Cote D’Ivoire 2-1 in their last group game.
Nigeria lost 0-1 to Burkina Faso in Group B opener while Burkina Faso suffered a 0-1 loss to Cote D’Ivoire. Nigeria, the 2022 WAFU B champions topped the group because they are the only team with two goals advantage while Burkina Faso finished second in fair play rule as Cote D’Ivoire had a red card in their game against Burkina Faso.
Group B table toppers, Nigeria will face Niger Republic who had three points, in their group in the next round.
