FRSC Calls For Enhanced Technology To Tackle Road Mishap
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has called for enhanced technology and public education as an immediate solution to road safety issues and improve safety.
Personnel of the safety corps highlighted this during an appearance on Signature Morning, a flagship program on Signature TV.
They attributed the recent increase in driver’s license fees to the high cost of production and highlighted its role as a revenue source for the Corps and the federal government.
The Administrative Officer at the Driver’s License Center in Enugu, Atu Atu, outlined the procedures for obtaining a new driver’s license and renewing existing ones, detailing the categories of fines for primary and secondary offenses.
Meanwhile, the Public Education Officer of Enugu state command, Nnenna Agu, emphasized the importance of public enlightenment to ensure the safety of vehicle users and pedestrians and needs for advanced technology to manage road safety challenges effectively
