Ganduje begins disbursement of N148m grant to Kano schools
The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje says the state under his watch has remained consistent in providing the needed funds for the development of education in the State.
Governor Ganduje made this known while inaugurating the disbursement of One Hundred and Forty-Eight Million grants to 1,400 public secondary schools across the state in Government House Kano.
He said the grants will enhance the free education and Almajiri integration policy of the state.
According to him, sources of funding of the policy are the Educational Trust Fund, five percent of the state’s Internally Generated Revenue, Local Government Area funds.
