Godwin Obaseki emerges winner of Edo 2020 Governorship Election

Governor Godwin Obaseki has been declared the winner of the Edo 2020 Governorship Election.

Obaseki scored 307, 955 votes to defeat Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress(APC) who polled 223,619 votes.

At the end of collation in Benin Obaseki met all the constitutional provisions and was declared winner by the Returning officer Prof A Oke.

Ize Iyamu of the APC had earlier lost his Local Government to the incumbent with APC polling10458 votes and PDP polling 13445
