Gov Alia condoles Senator Moro over son, grandson’s death
Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State on Tuesday condoled with the Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Senator Patrick Abba Moro, over the death of his son, Peter Moro, and his grandson, Abba Moro Jnr.
The senator had lost his son in a car crash at the weekend barely a day after losing his grandson, Junior.
Alia in a statement by his spokesman, Tersoo Kula, described the deaths of the Senator’s two sons within twenty hours of each other, as painful and devastating, stating that anyone who believes in humanity would be touched by the double tragedy.
He urged the senate minority leader, his family, the people of Benue South, and the entire State to accept what has happened as the will of God, who gives and takes away life.
The governor prayed to God to grant the departed sons, eternal rest.
