The National Pension Commission, PENCOM, whose present leadership is mired in political controversy, has raved up public sensitisation for the micro pension scheme.

In Abuja on Wednesday a group called the Conference of Civil Society in Nigeria, threw its weight behind the Micro Pension Scheme which is targeted at the informal sector, the youths and artisans.
Conference of Civil Society in Nigeria called on the target groups to take advantage of the Micro Pension Scheme to safeguard their future and prepare for a stable retirement.
Conference of Civil Society in Nigeria said it will commit itself to rally massive enrollment of members of the target groups into the Micro Pension scheme.
It commended the new management of PENCOM for driving the micro scheme and for improving on the fortunes of Nigeria’s Pension Commission
