Heightened security as Tinubu, Shettima sworn in

There was a high-security presence around the perimeter set around the Eagle’s Square in Abuja as President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, was sworn in today.

The Federal Secretariat Phase 1, 2, 3 and Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been cordoned off with a combined team of security operatives including the Police, Army, and Department of State Services (DSS) among others ensuring the event happened without incident.

The atmosphere was a blend of calm and excitement around the perimeter.
