I almost got slapped at beach, says Tiwa Savage
Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has recalled what almost befell her during a certain beach outing.
Widely regarded as the Queen of Afrobeats, Tiwa Savage noted when she decided to go to the beach void of security with little cash, she almost got attacked by aggrieved fans.
“One day, I do mistake go beach without security and small cash. Omo! I nearly chop slap that day,” she wrote.
The “Koroba” singer, who was recently at a beach in Lagos where she thrilled fans, made this known as the fans hailed her during her departure.
She acknowledged their praises as she said she loved them too.
She also threw money at them while laughing in the car.
She wrote: “Hahaha! I love you all too. But from afar.”
The 41-year-old mother of one continued: “E too cost to even step out.”
