Ikpeazu commends Gregory University Chancellor on fight against Covid-19
The Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has commended the Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu Prof Gregory Ibe for partnering government in the fight against COVID-19.
Speaking through his SSG Barr Chris Ezem while receiving the first batch of COVID-19 donations by the Chancellor, the Governor implored other privileged Abians to emulate the good example of Prof Ibe.
Items delivered in the first batch of donations include 850 bags of rice and two ambulances.
Some members of the state Inter-Ministetial Committee on Coronavirus, including the Commissioner of Health Dr Joe Osuji and his counterpart in the Ministry of Science and Technology Hon. Madumere observed the handover ceremony.
