An Indian man named Alfred Ruf, 71, has been sentenced to four years in prison after admitting to poisoning his wife, Liza Bishop, 51, by spiking her Coca-Cola cans with drugs, including cocaine and MDMA. Ruf’s shocking motive was to kill his wife so he could marry her daughter.

Bishop began experiencing unexplained symptoms such as headaches, drowsiness, and diarrhea, which led to her being hospitalized six times over a few weeks. During her hospitalizations, she tested positive for drugs that she had never knowingly consumed, raising suspicions that eventually led to the discovery of Ruf’s sinister plot.
