Jegede’s Case Against Akeredolu lacks merit-Tribunal
The Ondo State Election Petition Tribunal on Tuesday dismissed the case of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the state, Eyitayo Jegede on the grounds that it lacked merit.
The case which has been going on in the court before now was dismissed after the tribunal reviewed submissions made by both parties.
Akeredolu who addressed journalists at the Government House, Akure, the state capital after the ruling, thanked the tribunal for the judgement and the people of the state for their support, asking Eyitayo Jegede to join hands with him to move the state forward.
