The Kogi state Independent Electoral Commission has fixed the Local government election for December 12.
The Chairman of the SIEC, Maman Eri, made the announcement at stakeholders meeting on Wednesday in Lokoja.
Eri said the fixing of the date was in line with the state government’s decision to conduct free, fair, and credible elections to fill the political positions of the chairmen and councilors in all the 21 local government areas of the state.
