LABOUR PARTY CANDIDATE CONFIDENT OF RERUN ELECTION
The Labour Party candidate for the State House of Assembly sit, Bright Ngene says he is still confident that he will defeat his opponent any time the election is held.
Ngene who spoke to Correspondent, Clinton Okolo in Enugu also expressed confidence in the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Dr Chukwuemeka Chukwu to conduct a successful election in the state.
He however appealed to the electoral umpire to be unbiased and ensure a transparent process that will respect the will of the people.
On the defection of some members of the Enugu State House of Assembly elected on the platform of the Labour Party to the ruling PDP, Ngene said the defections were not based on principle.
He assured that he remains a loyal member of the Labour Party.
