LaLiga: Real Madrid turn attention to another France star after failing to land Mbappe
Real Madrid have now turned to Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni after Kylian Mbappe’s disappointment.
Mbappe had on Saturday made his decision to remain in Paris Saint-Germain public after years of intense speculation about his future.
The 23-year-old’s contract was due to expire next month and Real Madrid were looking to have finally landed the World Cup winner but like forward made a dramatic U-turn.
Marca reports that the LaLiga giants will now seek to make reinforcements in other areas of Carlo Ancelotti’s side too.
The publication names another French star, Tchouameni as a chief target, with securing a move for the 22-year-old midfielder now a priority for them
Tchouameni has enjoyed another fine season in Ligue 1 with Monaco.
