Military officers pay their last respects to soldiers killed in Benue State
Top military officers Monday paid their last respects to the Twelve soldiers killed by a local militia in Bonta, Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State.
The burial ceremony which took place at Wurukum Cemetery in Makurdi kicked off with the deceased servicemen lying in-State.
Family members, colleagues, and senior officers of the 72 battalions Makurdi led by the Commander, 4 Special Forces Doma, Brigadier General L.G Lepbung and the Commander Operation Whirl Stroke, Major General Adeyemi Yekini attended the burial ceremony.
The soldiers were on a peacekeeping mission in the state when they were attacked.
