My Role in the Anti-Corruption War-Produces Three Winners in Corruption Tori Essay Competition
At the end of a nationwide essay competition organized by Signature TV, producers of the famous anti-corruption television program, Corruption Tori, three Winners have emerged.
It was a three months search, Corruption Tori called for entries across 36 states of the federation for Secondary schools to participate in the Corruption Tori National-Anti Corruption Essay Competition with the topic “My Role in the Anti-Corruption War”
At a town hall meeting to mark the 2022 world Anti-Corruption day in Abuja penultimate Friday, three Winners, Samuel Edache from Bellanadia School, Oji Favour Chinemelum, Baptist High School, and Gianna Osuobeni of El-Amin International School, all in Abuja were announced.
The entries were carefully selected and marked by a team of independent judges selected across the country which over one hundred schools and one hundred and fifty students participated.
What the children wrote in the essay competition about corruption and their role in fighting it, shows that there is still hope for Nigeria in the fight against corruption.
In the same event, a Secondary school inaugurated its Anti-Corruption School Club.
Corruption Tori is a Pidgin English television program supported by the MacArthur Foundation, translated into Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba to amplify the war against corruption.
