Nasarawa Gov, Sule appoints new SSG
Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the appointment of Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The governor announced the appointment on Friday at the Government House in Lafia, the state capital.
Before his new role, Barr. Magaji served as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Nasarawa State, where he played a key role in legal reforms and justice delivery.
Magaji brings extensive experience in legal practice and public administration, with a strong record of service to the state.
Similarly, Governor Abdullahi Sule has dismissed all Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants and Personal Assistants serving under his administration, citing their inability to effectively implement government policies and programs.
At the event, was Commodore Yahaya Owuna (rtd.) sworn in as the sole administrator of Udege Administrative Area.
The chairman and board members of the College of Education, Akwanga, were also sworn in at the event.
The governor stated that the new appointments were part of his administration’s efforts to enhance governance and improve service delivery to the people of Nasarawa State.
He stressed that the dismissal of the aides is with immediate effect.
While acknowledging the contributions of the dismissed officials, Sule expressed gratitude for their service and urged them to continue supporting the state’s development.
