NDDC probe: Gbajabiamila joins House Committee at resumed hearing
Gbajabiamila joined the House Committee on NDDC after the hearing resumed. He said the decision by the Chairman, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to recuse himself from the probe showed that the lawmakers were out to ensure a credible exercise.
The event had ended abruptly as the acting Managing Director of NDDC, Prof Kemebradikumo Pondei, collapsed while being grilled by the lawmakers.
The event was suspended for about one hour.
The committee turned to the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, when they resumed deliberation on the alleged malfeasance at the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, a parastatal under the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.
