NDE IN ZAMFARA GRADUATES TRAINEES
More than one thousand seven hundred women and youth in Zamfara trained on various skills under the renewed hope initiative of President Bola Tinubu have been successfully graduated by the State office of the National Directorate of Employment.
The beneficiaries drawn from across the Fourteen Local Government Area of the state have received starter packs for them to immediately put in to practice what they learned during the training.
The Renewed Hope Employment Initiative is a programme under the National Directorate of Employment inline with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agenda aimed at creating job opportunities, especially among the teeming unemployed women and youths in the country.
These are more than one thousand seven hundred participants in Zamfara State who have undergone three months training on various skills that include tailoring, knitting, solar power installation and welding among others within the public works sector.
The National Directorate of Employment affirms that the initiative was aimed at empowering the Beneficiaries to become self-reliant.
The Zamfara State Coordinator of the NDE Hajiya Hadiza Kolo Hamza enjoined the beneficiaries to make judicious utilization of the opportunity.
The highpoint of the event was the formal presentation of starter packs loaned to the trainees by some of the personalities that graced the occasion.
