Ngige receives Sun Award, kicks off South West Consultations

APC Presidential Aspirant and Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige who was on Saturday honoured  with the Sun Newspaper’s Public Service Icon Award has kicked off his consultations with South West APC Leaders.

While receiving the prestigious award Saturday night Ngige who dedicated the award to his parents, his family and Nigerian Workers,  stressed the need for the government and Labour to work together for the good of Nigerian workers.

At the Sun Newspaper’s Award 

According to Sun Newspaper’s citation Ngige was “Regarded as the man who gave godfatherism a bloody nose in Anambra politics. His 34 month reign as Anambra Governor reengineered the state to greatness having
stopped the bleeding of the state’s resources by godfathers as was the tradition before him. His infrastructural transformation in the state is second to none. He constructed several rural and urban roads, built housing estates, hospitals and provided electricity infrastructure, among others”.

Earlier on Saturday the frontline APC Presidential Aspirant met with Aremu Segun Osoba,  former Ogun State Governor and Mr Fola Adeola former Guaranty Trust Bank pioneer Managing Director and former ACN Vice Presidential candidate in 2011 Presidential Election oveķr his aspiration in Lagos over the weekend.
