Nigeria records 499 COVID-19 in a day

With 157 new cases in Lagos, Nigeria has now recorded 499 new COVID-19 cases today, Thursday, says Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

The full record numbering many other states in Nigeria was contained in the update by the agency shared in its official Twitter handle this night.

Now, the country has 30748 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus while 12546 have been discharged after succesful treatment and 689 other dead.
