NIGERIAN CORRECTIONAL CENTERS GRAPPLE WITH CONGESTION CAUSED BY UN PAID COURT FINES – WATCH VIDEO
The Independent Investigative Panel on corruption and other violations in the Nigerian Correctional Service, says the congestion in the centers can be reduced if court imposed fines are paid by monitizing the labor of such convicts in cotrectional farms or workshops.
The suggestion arose from the focus of the panel on alternative approaches to payment of court fines which is affecting the management of congestion in the centers.
