Nigeria’s coronavirus cases jump to 131

Nigeria recorded its single largest coronavirus cases on Monday, with 20 new ones declared, raising the tally to 131.

According to Nigeria Centre of Disease Control, Lagos reported 13 of the cases, FCT Abuja 4, Kaduna 2 and Oyo State one.

The latest case in Oyo was Governor Seyi Makinde, who had announced that he caught the bug. He is the third governor to be affected by the virus, after governors Bala Mohammed and Nasir El-Rufai.

Five persons got well and two died.
