NNPP Chairman Dr. Agbo Major Affirms The Party’s Readiness For 2027
The National Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Dr. Agbo Major has linked Nigeria’s challenges to the actions and attitudes of past leaders who, according to him, failed to view the country as a united entity.
Dr. Major made this assertion during an interview on Signature Morning show where he emphasized that while every political party has a constitution and manifesto that recognizes Nigeria as one indivisible nation, some former leaders operated in ways that contradicted the vision.
He praised former Presidents Umaru Musa Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan as examples of leaders who upheld the unity of the country in word and action.
On the status of former presidential candidate of the party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Dr. Major stated that Kwankwaso ceased to be a member of the party in 2023 and has no affiliation with the party at the moment.
Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, Dr. Major said that mobilization remains a core objective for all political parties.
He affirmed that the NNPP is fully prepared to participate at all levels.
