It was a convergence of notable Nigerians cutting across government, politics, business and the diplomatic circle at the NAF Conference centre and Suites in Abuja.
They joined the family, relations and friends to pay tribute to an oil mogul, businessman, philanthropist and politician, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah who until his death was a member of the tenth Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as he continues his final journey on earth.
Activities marking the burial of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah shifted to the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja during the week.
It was a Night of tributes put together by the National Burial Organizing Committee led by Chief Olisa Metu to give honour to a man who at a young age destroyed all barriers to record a huge success in business, social life and politics.
Ubah died on July 26, 2024, at the age of 52, as senator representing Anambra South on the platform of the Young Progressives Party until his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) apparently to offer him a bigger platform to ply at the national level.
In their remarks former President Goodluck Jonathan and Senate President Godswill Akpabio described Ifenayi Ubah as a community builder, philanthropist, selfless leader who has impacted society positively.

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, (APC) Abdullahi Ganduje, Former Governors and former senators were among dignitaries in attendance.
Ubah was the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited and Authority Newspaper.
The burial activities will shift to his hometown, Umuanuka, Otolo Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra state on Thursday for a vigil mass before final burial on Friday, the 21st of November, 2024.
Ifeanyi Ubah died in London, United Kingdom on the 27th of July, 2024 and is survived by a wife and 5 children.
