NSE: The bulls led the floor as all indicators closed blue on Tuesday.

Transactions on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed blue as all the market indicators recorded increase.

The value of shares that exchanged hands rose to four hundred and sixty-seven point eight –eight –six million from three hundred and thirty-three point nine-six, a one hundred and thirty point five-two percent rise.

Similarly, the value rose from two point six-four billion naira to five point five-six-five billion, a one hundred and ten point seven-nine percent increase.

The All Share Index also closed in the positive, climbing to forty-one thousand five hundred and eighty –four point nine –four points, from forty-one thousand eighty –eight point nine- six points traded on Monday.

The bulls dominated the floor as thirty-two gainers were recorded against only nineteen losers.

R.T BRISCOE NIG. PLC was the most gainer among others, having a ten percent gain on its share price. This was an increase from two kobo traded on Monday to twenty –two kobo on Tuesday.

JOHN HOLT PLC led the laggards. Its share price fell from fifty kobo traded on Monday to forty-five kobo at close of trading Tuesday.

ZENITH BANK was the toast of investors, trading nineteen point six –four million shares in a three hundred and eighty-eight deals.
