NSE: Value and Volume of stocks traded rose on Tuesday, after two consecutive fall.

Trading on the floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on Tuesday with an impressive rise in the volume and value of stocks traded.
The volume of stocks traded on Tuesday rose from six hundred and sixty-eight million, five hundred and thirty one thousand, four hundred and six to nine billion, three hundred and sixty million, fourteen thousand seven hundred and forty six.
The value of the traded stocks closed at seven billion, eight hundred and forty-nine million, two hundred and eighteen thousand, four hundred and forty five point six eight naira. This was a 53.15% rise.
The All Share Index however fell to thirty-four thousand two hundred and forty-two point eight three. from the thirty-four thousand seven hundred and ninety-five point eight two recorded on Tuesday.
CONOIL was the top gainer among other 26 gainers at the close of trade while NESTLE topped the losers’ chart .
