The Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi says he has faith and hope in Nigeria’s judicial system to do the right thing when the party goes to court to re-claim its stolen mandate
According to him, the judiciary’s integrity can never be bought because judicial officers and their family are not leaving outside Nigeria rather in Nigeria and are witnesses to the illegality of the whole process
Obi spoke when he addressed a section of the media in Abuja on Thursday on the party’s next step to after the election result was announced in favour of the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He recalled that all his court cases especially when he was impeached as a Governor of Anambra state, it was the judiciary that gave him justice and therefore he is confident that rule of law and justice must prevail over injustice.
While making it clear that the Labour party will exhaust all legal and peaceful means of reclaiming its mandate which was lost by the obvious rigging and manipulating of the entire electoral process, Obi asked his supporters to remain calm and allow the judiciary to do their work in the interest of Nigerians.

He said that there are politicians who do not like playing the game by the rule and always resort to violence to achieve what they want and this puts Nigeria’s democracy into danger.
Obi vowed that he will stand with his supporters to challenge the unhonourable and illegal process and conduct of the elections.
