Okorocha joins the race as South East demands Presidency
As political actors express directly or indirectly their interest to run for the presidential race come 2023 and the South East demanding for a president of Igbo extraction, Former Imo State Governor and current Imo West Senator, Rochas Okorocha has openly declared his intention to join the race.
The lawmaker who stated this in a letter read on Wednesday during plenary by Senate President Ahmad Lawan said he wants to contest the presidency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Rochas announced that he will hold a world press conference on Monday 31st January where he will officially declare his ambition.
