As the Olympic flames were lit at the ancient birthplace of the games in what was a magnificent theatrical display by Greek actress Mary Mina, President of host country Emmanuel Macaron of France has hinted at a possible shift in the opening of the summer Olympics game taking place in the city of love.
With 100 days to go, Macron said the opening could be shifted should security risk reach a crescendo.

The opener was slated to cover the whole stretch of the river Seine but would now be confined to just the Eiffel Tower area of the River Seine.
