Pandemonium at FCMB over COVID-19
There was pandemonium at a Lagos branch of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) on Monday over a suspected case of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
A video which has gone viral shows alarmed FCMB officials quickly moving in to evacuate a customer who suddenly collapsed while using the ATM as the bank reopened for business after the month-long lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
An eye witness said of the incident which took place at FCMB Onipanu: “The guy was finding it hard to breathe at some point and collapsed while using the ATM. After the security checked his temperature, it was alarmingly high. People left their transactions and took to their heels as they believed that the man was suffering from Coronavirus.”
FCB Management was yet to comment on the incident as at the time of this report.
