Police arrest five men for sodomising 20-year-old
The police in Kano State on Friday arrested five men for sodomising a 20-year-old boy.
This was contained in a statement signed by the police spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna-Kiyawa, in Kano State.
The police spokesman stated that a woman, who resides in Mandawari quarters, reported the matter to the police, adding that the police commissioner Sama’ila Shu’aibu-Dikko, instructed a team of policemen to arrest the suspects, which are Ahmed Inuwa, 34, Nasiru Isyaku, 48, Lawan Uba, 31, Auwalu Uba, 40, and Rabiu Sharu, 33.
Haruna-Kiyawa further stated that the victim was rushed to the Muhammadu Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital, Kano, where he was treated and discharged, adding that a discreet investigation is ongoing, and the police would prosecute all the suspects after investigation.
