Political Shake Up In Imo State
Four political parties in Imo state have collapsed their leadership, membership and structures into the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Aboh-Mbaise local government area of the state.
The parties involved in the political Shake Up include the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, the All Progressives Grand Alliance,APGA, the Labor party and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
At a ceremony to welcome the leaders and members of the parties to African Democratic Congress ADC, Chief Jonathan Onyeneke, the chairman of ADC in Aboh-Mbaise local government area said that the ADC is not just a political party but a movement towards a higher value of human dignity and inclusive development which will touch every facet of national life and every community in the country.
He congratulated members and leaders of the four political parties for their decision to join hands with other compatriots to rescue Imo state and Nigeria from its present unenviable position.
The realignment of political forces in Aboh-Mbaise local government is expected to galvanize political interest of the people towards the 2027 election.
