Ramadan: Muslims Urge to be on the look out for moon

The Muslim Ummah has been urged to report the sighting of the moon of Ramadan from Monday, April 12th, 2021.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III on Sunday.

The Sultan gave telephone numbers that could be used to report the sighting of the new moon to the committee.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar observed by Muslims worldwide as a month for fasting, prayer, reflection and assisting the needy.
