Ramadan: Pray As If This is Your Last Fasting – Imam
As Muslim faithful across the world are observing the Holy month of Ramadan, an Islamic Scholar and Chief Imam, Mopol Barracks, Mpape Abuja, Mallam Abubakar Musa has called on Muslims to see this fasting Ramadan as the last and pray to Almighty Allah for the forgiveness of sins.
The scholar made the call in Abuja, on Friday during the Juma’at sermon, as he preached to Muslims to use the Holy month wisely and pray to Almighty Allah, as there is no assurance of witnessing another fasting Ramadan.
He said many Muslims across the world witnessed the sighting of the moon, but couldn’t see its end, while some were not opportune to see the middle of the month, and many will not even see the end of the month. He urged all Muslims to always prepare as death comes without notice. He added that Muslims should desist from any work against the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and the Quran as to always be a good Muslims.
He urged Muslim Faithful to seek the Night of Laylatul Qadr, a night that Allah forgive past sins and grant answer to every prayers.
Imam Musa charged Muslim faithful in Nigeria to redouble efforts in praying to Almighty Allah to bring peace, tranquility and stability to our country Nigeria.
