RANGERS LIFT 2024 PREMIER LEAGUE TROPHY WITH AN OUTSTANDING MATCH
The Rangers International Football Club of Enugu has emerged champions of the 2024 Nigeria Professional League Competition after playing 37 of the 38 matches.
The Rangers which defeated visiting Bendel Insurance of Benin by 2 goals nothing on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium now has 67 points with only a match to go.
They won twenty, lost 10 drew 7 with one outstanding away match against Gombe United to end the season.
Augustine Agu put the Flying Antelopes in the lead in the 33rd minute of the first half while Chidiebere Nwobodo made it double in the 65th minute of the second half.
Rangers by this feat will represent Nigeria in the CAF champions league competition for elite clubs in Africa next season.
