REMAINS OF MARGERET NWOMEH LAID TO REST IN OZALLA, ENUGU STATE
The remains of Ezinne Margaret Nwomeh, mother of Mr Dan Nwomeh, Senior Special Assistant to the Enugu State Governor on Mainstream Media has been laid to rest at her home town, Ozalla in Nkanu West LGA, Enugu State with requiem mass celebrated by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga.
In a homily, the Parish Priest of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Iji Nike, Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Igwe, underscored the need for Christians to believe in God and serve Him without reservation.
He described the late Mrs. Nwomeh as a woman of faith, who served her maker and humanity with total commitment counting numerous examples of his personal encounters with the deceased who he said served God with her time, resources, and total being.
The catholic priest maintained that having lived an exemplary life recorded a huge success in raising very godly and highly illustrious children, who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of human endeavour, Margaret deserved the title of Ezinne.
According to him, Ezinne Nwomeh served God to the best of her ability and made impact wherever she found herself and stood for the truth and remained principled and obedient without compromise.
He advised the children to uphold the virtues of obedience, hard work, prayerful life, love, kindness and humility which their mother exhibited while alive.
In their separate vote of thanks, sons of the deceased, Prof Ben Nwomeh and Dan Nwomeh promised to sustain the legacies their mother left behind as after facing the ordeal and challenges as a young 23-year-old widow with five children.
