Reps Member, Prof Nnamchi Dumps Labour Party For APC
The member for Enugu East and Isi Uzo Federal Constituency of Enugu State in the House of Representatives, Prof. Paul Nnamchi, has dumped the Labour Party and joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Nnamchi announced his defection on the floor of the House on Tuesday.
He cited what he refers to as internal leadership squabbles that was tearing the party apart as his reason for leaving the Labour Party.
Prof Nnamchi said the crisis has continued to disrupt the party’s structure and success made in the last general elections.
