Saheed Osupa reacts to death prophecy by Islamic Cleric

Legendary Fuji musician, Saheed Osupa, has reacted to the prophecy of his death by a Nigerian cleric.

A controversial Muslim cleric popularly known as Alpha Olopa Meta had earlier claimed that the singer will die on January 10 2026.

The cleric who claimed to have begged God on the singer’s behalf, told Osupa to buy a big ram for prayers.

However, reacting to the prophecy during a live performance on Sunday January 11 2026, Osupa said, “Fake Alpha and prophet please don’t wish me dead. Everyone who wishes me dead will die in my place.

“Close enemies, unknown enemies, enemies of my career and the ones in my neighborhood, better don’t wish me dead, or you would die before me.”
